Campus Resources
At SMC, families are a part of our Gael family. Parents and other family support systems can all play an instrumental role in a student's growth, development, and education. We hope this page helps families feel connected to SMC and the resources available to support their student.

Academic Support
Tutoring and Advising Support
- Request an individual tutor to meet weekly with a peer student who has already successfully passed the course
Center for Writing Across the Curriculum (CWAC)
- CWAC works with students who need support for any course, at any stage of the writing process.
- The Advising Office (TAO) is dedicated to helping Saint Mary's students realize their academic potential by connecting them with the faculty advisors, support offices, and campus resources they need to succeed.
- During individualized coaching sessions, Success Coaches work with students to ensure their academic, personal, and social growth and development. Coaches work closely with academic advisors and other resources across campus to support students in achieving their goals.
Making a gift to the College
Parents play a vital role in shaping the Saint Mary’s experience, including through their generosity. Gifts from parents and grandparents support every corner of campus life. From scholarships and student wellness to academic programs and Gael Athletics—you can support the areas that matter most to your family, or the College's highest priorities.
